SIX MUSICIANS GAIN TENURE FOR 2025-2026 SEASON
The Harrisburg Symphony is proud to announce the tenure of six musicians. Please welcome to the HSO family:
Jonathan Clark, Assistant Horn
Elias Goldstein, Assistant Principal Viola
Linda Numagami, Section Viola
Eric Just, Principal Clarinet
Joy Hodges, 2nd Horn
Michael Anderson, Principal Tuba
To gain tenure in the HSO or any professional orchestra, a musician must first win an audition. After the musician wins, the HSO offers them a probationary contract for one season. Once the musician completes the contract, Music Director Stuart Malina and the principal players most closely associated with the musician review their performance. Final decisions regarding renewal of probationary contracts as tenured contracts are made by the Music Director. When the Music Director grants a musician tenure, the musician is notified and may retain their position until retirement.
We are excited to have these talented musicians be a part of the HSO going forward. Please join us in welcoming them during our 2025-2026 Season.
