HSO Announces Community Leaders Elected to Symphony Board
[Harrisburg, PA] – The Harrisburg Symphony announces the election of three new Board Members to the Harrisburg Symphony Association’s Board of Directors: Anthony Conte of Conte Wealth Advisors; Erin Hennessy of PSECU; and Kathleen McKenzie of Highmark BlueShield starting July 1, 2026.
Anthony Conte, owner of Conte Wealth Advisors brings a breadth of knowledge in financial planning, wealth management, and retirement planning. He also has served on the boards of WITF, Central PA Estate Planning Council, the Downtown Camp Hill Association, and the Whitaker Center.
Erin Hennessy, current Chief Experience Officer at PSECU and former Senior Vice President Marketing with Rocket Mortgage and Chief Innovation Officer with Adessa Innovation, joins the HSO Board with a background in brand marketing, advertising, and communications. She also volunteers with inner city food programs and mentors youth in technology and data programming.
Kathleen McKenzie, Vice President for Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware at Highmark BlueShield, becomes a Board Member bringing grant management, community programs, and volunteerism experience to the organization. She also volunteers with Penn State Health Cancer Committee.

Their expertise, leadership, and commitment will further strengthen our organization as we continue to enrich our community through the power of music.”
The Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1931 and is now in its 97th season at the Forum Auditorium in Harrisburg, PA. The fully professional ensemble performs under the direction of Tony Award-winning Music Director and Conductor, Stuart Malina. The Symphony also presents an extensive music education program that includes concerts for school age children, in-school residencies, and the Harrisburg Symphony Youth Orchestras, which are comprised of approximately 200 elementary, middle, and high school students. The Harrisburg Symphony is governed by a 24-member Board of Directors and receives additional philanthropic support from the Harrisburg Symphony Society.
