Performer Highlights

Peter Sirotin

Peter Sirotin is a Ukrainian-born violinist, chamber musician, soloist, and concertmaster whose career has taken him across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Described by The Washington Post as “stylistically refined,” “electrifying,” and “brilliant,” Sirotin made his debut at age 14 with the Kharkiv Philharmonic and has since performed widely as a soloist and ensemble leader.

  • Currently Concertmaster of the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and Co-Director of Market Square Concerts in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
  • Appeared as soloist with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, Gettysburg Chamber Orchestra, Williamsport Symphony, American Youth Philharmonic, and Baltimore Chamber Orchestra.
  • Founded the Mendelssohn Piano Trio with pianist Ya-Ting Chang; the ensemble performed more than 600 concerts and recorded 15 CDs, including The Complete Haydn Piano Trios.
