Capathia Jenkins

Capathia Jenkins is a Brooklyn-born vocalist and actress whose work moves fluidly between Broadway, symphonic concerts, film, and television. With a voice suited to both theatrical storytelling and full-scale orchestral performance, she has become a frequent guest artist for pops programs and concert stages across North America and abroad. 

• Broadway appearances include Newsies, The Civil War, The Look of Love, Caroline, or Change, and Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me. 
• Earned a Drama Desk Award nomination for her performance in (mis)Understanding Mammy: The Hattie McDaniel Story.
