Two gorgeous odes to the earth

The orchestral suite from Aaron Copland’s only opera, The Tender Land, including the famous hymn The Promise of Living, and Gustav Mahler’s Song of the Earth, described by Leonard Bernstein as “Mahler’s greatest symphony.” A breathtaking program of joys and sorrows, beauty and reflection, featuring two internationally acclaimed singers.
