The Harrisburg Symphony Youth Orchestras program is the place to broaden and expand your journey into the world of classical music performance. We are excited to welcome you to the HSYO community for the 2023-2024 season. We look forward to making music together!
Audition Information (2023-2024 Season)
Harrisburg Symphony Youth Orchestra (grades 9-12): Please click below to register for a JYSO audition. HSYO online prescreening auditions are due July 15, 2023. Details concerning in-person seating auditions will be shared upon acceptance.
Junior Youth String Orchestra (grades 6-9): Please click below to register for a JYSO audition. JYSO auditions will be held on Thursday, September 7 at Bishop McDevitt High School, One Crusader Way, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
Elementary String Orchestra (grades 3-5): There are no auditions for ESO. Rather, we accept students based on a set of recommended playing requirements. Please review the requirements below with your child’s teacher and register accordingly.
